Compared to malaysian food, indonesian foods seems a bit boring, until you walk into a Nasi Padang Restaurant and find yourself with a variety of 20 to 25 dishes right in front of your face. Unlike usually, in a Nasi Padang restaurant all dishes are put on the table and you can choose what you want to eat (and subsequently pay for). It really gives you a great overview of the variety of the indonesian cusine, containing chicken, beef, fish, vegetables, curries and sauces (sambal). For my german tongue it might be a bit too much taste in one go, but for sure I recommend everyone to try and give it a go!
